Good morning Doss Families - 

Yesterday was the first Doss Family Picnic and we had an amazing turnout! It was a beautiful day and it filled my heart with pride and joy seeing all the families. Thank you PTA for helping the idea come to fruition and the yummy ice cream truck!

This month’s Parent Principal Coffee will be Tuesday, October 7th at 8am. We will discuss the district’s proposed boundary and consolidation plan. If you are not able to attend in person, we have a virtual option. HERE is the link. 

This week we invite all to participate in Walk & Roll to School Day on Wednesday, October 8th. This safety project is a citywide effort for youth walking and rolling to school, a movement to improve health by encouraging physical activity. So join me in walking or rolling to Doss on October 8th. Details found HERE.

A few reminders around campus:

• Immunizations must be updated by Oct. 9

• No dogs on campus at morning drop off or dismissal for safety reasons

• Doss playground is closed to the public after school until 5:30pm

• No school this Friday, Oct. 10
