Good morning Doss Families -
This past week was packed with activities, two nights of Back to School Nights, a Parent Principal Coffee, we collapsed a kindergarten class, and we created a new 1st grade class based on enrollment. If you missed Back to School Night, please reach out to your child’s teacher for the information shared and if you missed the PPC, you can find the presentation HERE which includes information about the GT referral process.
Mr. Ibarra has been busy assigning Chromebooks to students and classrooms. Chromebook use is a privilege and it needs to be used responsibly. You should have received an AISD Student Responsible Use Policy last week and signed to acknowledge the receipt of that form. If you did not, please ask your child’s teacher about it.
Health Tip from Nurse Paula - Lice is one of the multiple reasons students visit Nurse Paula. HERE is a resource defining what lice is, how to check for it, and how to treat it. If your student is infected with lice, please notify their teacher and any friends they are in close contact with to help minimize the spread.
